Mystery Shopping is a common practice in a lot of restaurant, retail, casino, automotive and hospitality industries because it gives you first hand insight into what it’s like to be a customer. It can be used to gather specific information about a product or service, or to check up on the customer experience and what type of customer service they receive. You can dictate what they buy, how they behave and what types of questions they ask in order to receive the most specific feedback and reporting about their shopping experience. Other information that can be gathered ranges from completed questionnaires to audio and video recordings. This also means the telephone conversation can be recorded (applicable in certain states), giving you the actual conversation between your employee and our mystery shopper. You can then use this for internal training as necessary.
