Most companies offer straight mystery shops where an assigned mystery shopper is scheduled to visit your location and then fill out a form online. EVERY company in the world provides that. Every company will say they are the best, guarantee the fastest report turnaround, use the best shoppers, etc. We make promises and deliver, but most importantly we help you get to the solution and work with you on actions, not just mystery shop delivery.
We don’t believe that boasting the fastest turnaround time is a positive. The faster someone reviews or edits a report, the more likely they are to make a mistake. We have our editing staff contact shoppers for more detail and or clarification before we send the report to you. We know that a report that is perfect in 3 days is more valuable than a report done in 1 day that has inconsistencies.
We say we have the best and most highly trained shoppers, because we KNOW that we do. We have to hire people that we can groom into loss prevention auditors as well as mystery shoppers. We perform background checks on many of our people and then put them through two levels of testing. We also offer client specific testing for any client that wants to make sure that our shoppers/contractors are crystal clear on the specifics of their program.

No one has proven that they are capable of taking advantage of technological advances to improve their systems and offerings more than we have. Tom Mills Jr is the creator of the Mystery Shopping Industries FIRST entirely web based software program, SASSIE. It is the most widely used and single-handedly transformed the industry from a paper & fax based process to an online process. Over the last 10 years since the development of SASSIE, we have continued to stay in front by developing software to be used on palm pilots, kiosk surveys and most recently with the Manager Action Plan and Text Message Responding.
The Manager Action Plan will be the single biggest advance to mystery shopping over the next 2 years. Potential and current clients have said in the past that they were concerned about the effectiveness of mystery shopping at the store level. They felt that the data collected was very helpful, but how did they know that their managers were looking over the reports and acting on them. The MAP fixes this and takes it to another level. The MAP engine forces Managers to read reports and put a plan together on how they intend to fix the problem or celebrate the positive experience. It also houses all of the policies & procedures from a client’s handbook, allowing the managers to reference the materials that are most important to a client.

Kiosk Surveys
By removing the necessity of assigning a mystery shopper to a particular location, we built Kiosk Mode. It was built to be used by the field personnel such as a district manager who makes frequent visits to their locations and needs to record the findings. We have found that most of our clients are using the labor intensive system of entering data into Excel, then e-mailing the file back to corporate where they have to enter each file into a larger file, and so on and so on. For a very small amount of money, we can streamline this process, save you money and man hours, plus give you the tools to act on this data while in the field. The links can also be used to collect surveys on a website or for e-mailing out to your clients to get their post-experience feedback.

Merchandising
We have been hired in the past to check for restaurant closings and openings, by just sending someone to take a picture of the location. We can also make sure that the promotion that you just spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on is “ready to go.” at your locations. By making a quick visit, we can check for all of the marketing materials and their placement, also taking a picture of each for your verification. If you need people to be any place, to do any thing, we have them!

Operational Audits
Companies spend thousands of dollars every year sending their internal staff all over the country to perform routine inspections of the locations. By using our staff, we send a local person highly-trained in operational audits to perform these visits for you. Then if our findings detect a larger issue a more cost effective, targeted visit can be made by your internal staff.

Text Message Responses (CTR)
As we continue to stay ahead of the curve with technology, we recently developed software that will allow us to collect customer surveys via a text message. Imagine sitting in the corporate office and watching customer responses coming in over the Internet as the customer is still sitting in the restaurant! By displaying a text messaging number in your restaurant, the customer will dial the number, and then be sent a question/s to answer. At the end of the last question, a “Thank You” message that can accompany a coupon will be sent to their phone, so you can offer a discount of some type to motivate customers to respond.
