Tom Mills Jr., CEO With over 20 years working in the mystery shopping industry and running Service Sleuth, Tom has become an innovative leader in the industry as the creator of SASSIE, the industry’s first web-based mystery shopping software. Additionally, Tom is a founding member and past president of the MSPA. Prior to beginning Service Sleuth, Tom held various management and merchandising positions with Staples, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and others.
Mike Mershimer, President & COO - With over 25 years of loss prevention experience, Mike set out on his own, founding The Mershimer Group in 2004. He later joined Tom Mills in forming HS Brands International, bringing the two complimentary services together. Prior to starting his own firm, Mike held executive loss prevention positions for some of the world’s favorite brands, including Dunkin Donuts, American Greetings, Bath & Body Works and Quiznos Subs. He is the founder of the National Restaurant Association’s Loss Prevention Executive Study Group and has held board seats with the National Food Service Security Council and the National Restaurant Association’s Internal Audit Executive Study Group.
